ReOrient Festival of Short Plays and Forum
We are thrilled to be the Community Partner for the upcoming ReOrient Festival of Short Plays and Forum led by Golden Thread Productions.This year’s festival will showcase an outstanding collection of plays that showcase the diversity of voices from the Middle East, including the world premiere of Songs of our Childhood by emerging Iranian playwright Nahal Navidar. We are also pleased to announce that we will have Tehran-based Manijeh Mohamidi and Golden Thread regular Sara Razavi joining the directing team.
In addition, our 2-Day ReOrient Forum will feature an in depth panel focusing on Iranian theatre artists working in the United States for; participants include Mahmoud Karimi Hakak, playwright Naghmeh Samini, director Mohamad Yaghoubee, and actor & director Bella Warda.
