Art & Culture Programs

One of the unique models that Ziya is leading is designing and managing programs with focus on SAMENA (South Asia, Middle East, North Africa) art and culture and bring them to different organizations, cultural centers, and public places. Ziya manages all administration and logistics to ensure an event runs smoothly and successfully.

These events include both traditional ways including art exhibition and auction, art workshop, film screening, music night, as well as non-traditional events like Sufi ceremony, co-creating art event, collaborative art projets, and family art creation.

Ziya will work with partnering organization closely to research and create a strategic event proposal. Once approved Ziya will manage venues, vendors, artists, menus, guest lists, speakers/entertainment and on-site production as well as oversee budget, social media promotions, communications and marketing materials (invitations, flyers, and advertisements) for each event.

Ziya will make sure that the whole event from the art to food and setting would have the sense of SAMENA region’s culture. The food is provided from best Halal homemade vendors and caterers from Middle East, India, Pakistan, and Iran in the Bay Area.

One of our on-going program in this regard is Art & Culture Season Progams in partnership with and at the Islamic Cultural Center of Nothern California (ICCNC) in Oakland, California. To view the details of each program, please click on each season's poster:
