Freedom & Enlightenment Art Exhibition

November 8 – 22, 2014 at 1433 Madison St., Oakland, CA 94612

Opening Reception Ceremony on November 8, 2014, 5 – 7 P.M.

The exhibition will be now open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10am to 3pm. It will be started with the opening reception on Nov 8 at 5-7 pm and will run up to Nov 22.

Traditional Persian Painting Workshop by Maryam Vesal related to the exhibition on November 22, 2014 at 4 – 7 P.M.

“Freedom and Enlightenment” is a group exhibition curated by Arash Shirinbab and it encompasses the outstanding works of Iranian-American and Iranian artists residing in the Bay Area, discovering their creativity and unique styles in representing the theme of the exhibition. The exhibition includes paintings, calligraphy, ceramics, photography, graphite, and mixed media artworks by artists.

  • The exhibition and its reception are free and in English. Events are open to the public, and take place in ICCNC’s historical and welcoming space near Oakland’s Lake Merritt at: 1433 Madison St., Oakland, CA 94612

  • Limited free parking is available on site; The Center is near the 12th St. BART station.

  • Artworks are for sale.
